SettlersStats is an app that helps you track and analyze your games of Settlers of Catan. You can use a digital dice and display the dice results in statistics.
The app was developed by an avid Settlers of Catan player with the help of his son. The app has been thoroughly tested on various devices and simulators to ensure optimal functionality. However, if you encounter any problems or bugs, please feel free to contact me via email at wgernot@gmx.at. I will try to fix the problems as soon as possible.

Frequently asked questions
Is SettlersStats a stand-alone game?
No, SettlersStats can only be used in conjunction with the board game „The Settlers of Catan“.
With which versions of Settlers of Catan is the app compatible?
Basically, you can use SettlersStats with any version of Settlers of Catan. However, not all functions may be available for it. However, the game has mainly been tested with the Basic Edition, as well as the Cities and Knights expansion.
Can I play SettlersStats together with the Seafarer expansion?
Yes you can play with the Seafarer Expansion. However, since there are many different ways to build up the landscape fields, you can only use the „Simple“ version for the statistics. So you get the desired dice statistics, but no resource production statistics and no sounds of the resources.
The dice distribution does not work correctly
The dice distribution of the numbers is based on a pure random function. Also, as in any other game with conventional dice, a 6 may be rolled less often than, for example, a 3. The app was tested and the dice distribution at 1000 rolls almost resembles a perfect Gaussian distribution. Of course, with 75 dice (about a standard game), this distribution can be much less accurate.
Can I play in another language?
SettlersStats is currently available in English and German. If you have set one of these languages on your device, the correct language will be selected. If you have set another language (e.g. Spanish), English will be used automatically. You can change this in the System Settings / SettlersStats.

Data we collect
The SettlersStats app does not collect any personal data from users. The only data collected by the app is statistics about the games. When the winner of the game enters their first name, that name is displayed in the gloryboard. However, the name is not validated for accuracy and no other personal data is collected.
How we use the collected data
The collected data will be used only to create statistics about the games and display them on the gloryboard. The data will not be shared with third parties.
How we protect the collected data
The collected data is stored directly on the user’s device (local JSON files in the Documents Order of the app) and is thus accessible only to the user. No one but the user has access to this data.
How long we keep the collected data
The collected data is stored on the user’s device until the user deletes it.
How the user can delete or change the data
The user can delete the data of the respective entries directly in the gloryboard by himself at any time.
